A: Employees must present original, unexpired documents from the Lists of Acceptable Documents provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). They can present one document from List A, OR one document from List B AND one document from List C. Here’s a summary:
List A: Documents That Establish Both Identity and Employment Authorization:
-U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport Card
-Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
-Foreign passport that contains a temporary I-551 stamp or temporary I-551 printed notation on a machine-readable immigrant visa
-Employment Authorization Document that contains a photograph (Form I-766)
-Foreign passport with Form I-94 or Form I-94A with Arrival-Departure Record and containing an endorsement to work.
-Passport from the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) or the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) with Form I-94 or Form I-94A.

A: I-9 Employment Verification is a process mandated by the U.S. government to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.1 We act as authorized representatives to complete Section 2 of the I-9 form.
A: No, there is nothing in the wording of the I-9 Form that requires a notarization. However, employers will ask the new remote employee to take the form to a notary public for verification of identity and completion. Employers may include an additional page for notary service information.

Fees for completed I-9 verification services are non-refundable. This includes the I-9 verification fee, and any travel or mobile fees associated with the service. Any associated fees for expedited service, once completed, are also non-refundable.
If a scheduled I-9 verification appointment is canceled with at least 24 hours' notice, a full refund of any prepaid service fees will be issued.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.
No show appointments will not be refunded.
To cancel a scheduled service, please send an email to [email protected]. Your cancellation is only valid upon receiving a confirmation email from Remarkable FL Notary, LLC.
For urgent cancellations, you may also call us at 813-494-5346, but you must follow up with an email to confirm the cancellation details. We kindly request that you inform us of your cancellation as soon as possible. We will send a confirmation email of the cancellation, and a link to reschedule, or the email address that was used to book the appointment.
